thank you for the response! i see your point of view, thank you for breaking it down and manageable parts to read. I do see that often, which can leave a sour taste in your mouth. i have no issue with trans hcs, but i only ever get hcs of over sexualizing it. and im glad your respectful with your opinion, thank you for clarifying

ok so this topic is rather controversial and everyone has their very own opinions and views on this, based on experiences and ideals. i will not only mention trans hcs, but also some other topics for clarification, i myself am not against transgender people, but headcanons about them. *Headcanon: Something made up by the fandom based on some proof or logic, but neither confirmed nor denied by the original source material. They often have thought and reasoning behind them, and, in some cases, slight implications of its truth.* most “headcanons” in fandoms are mostly projections to the character, rather than something actually related to them (e.g. racebending). changing a character’s race, gender, religion, sexuality or backstory and claiming them to be “representation” or even the “real” version, and *sometimes* treating those who respect canon as “problematic” for not agreeing. to me all this feels disrespectful because it turns characters into blank templates for projection, it disregards the author’s intent and it flattens out cultural, religious and other nuances by force fitting them into the modern identity discourse. this is generally the reason im against most headcanons (i sound so picky LOL), though i do also have some other issues. most trans and lgbt headcanons are fetishised and based on disrespectful stereotypes & misconceptions(e.g. sigma being “trans” because he wears heels and has long hair. not only, but also comparing his life experiences to one of a trans person, even though its completely unrelated and adding the idea as if “one cant experience ——— if they arent trans”), which can and will affect people’s views on trans people in real life (this especially affects children). i am also often bothered when children are headcanoned as trans, because they’re still developing and shouldn’t be bothered by adult topics as that (especially when it opens door for creeps who like to sexualise it) so umm this is generally it, i suppose. yea please do tell me if you wanna discuss this more or if im not clear enough in some spaces xx
